need information climbing with child
Hi,
i come from germany (saxon switzerland) and we are planning to visit canada in september. We will start in Vancouver and then we want to visit some national parks. But we are not shure, where we can climb with our 5 year old child. We need some more information about good climbing areas wich are frendly for kids. Also we are interested in further informations about campgrounds. Or is it possible to stay where we want?
Is the Banff national parkgood for climbing?
Is it to cold for climbing in September?
I´m sorry, but my english isn´t perfect. But I hope, you are so friendly to help us.

There are lots of good camping areas in Banff National Park you shouldn't have trouble finding a spot except for the long weekend (Sep 4,5,6). The climbing is good in Banff the most accesible areas are "Back of the Lake" behind Lake Louise and Grassi Lakes in Canmore. Check out www.tabvar.org. In Squamish the easy access climbing areas are The Little Smoke Bluffs and Murrin Provincial Park, south of Squamish. Another good place to ask about Banff National Park is www.lonelyplanet.com, go to the "Thorntree" and ask your questions in the "Canada" thread.
