12a was my original grade for the route. After a few people complained about that grade I suggested 12b. The 12c/d grade was, I believe, just a typo or misinformation.
For what it's worth.

You have no say here!! Only local residents can have a say on the grades! :)

Gary, you're calling this 12c now in your new guide??? Wow, talk about a gimme at the grade. Try Cut to the Chase, Heist, Animal, Fish Hotline or any of a dozen older routes for 12c baseline. Dichotomy is not in that league by a longshot. Well, at least that's my humble opinion.

I'm back in!
I thought Rock Lobster was tough at 12b until I got better beta. It's probably fair for the grade.

I can't believe "Redneck Shootout" gets 2 to 3 stars! No offence but I think it's the worst route at The Forgotten Wall. Just my opinion though.

I'm not sure what grade it could be but I spent quite a bit of time working the bottom crimps. Pain! :? i think I just need to find better footholds. It was surprisingly smooth after the 3 bolt. I was able to stick my whole arm in the crack, that was interesting :). Didn't do it clean but it was fun climb.
