Adding To My Aid Rack
Hey, I'm thinking of adding another set of cams to my rack and I need some advice. Right now I have a full set of Power Cams, doubles of #'s 2 thru 5, and a full set of aliens. Am I better to buy another set of aliens or a set of TCU's? Or does anyone have some other suggestions? Although I certainly rely on them for free climbing, I'm buying them specifically for my aid rack. Also, being from the coast, they'll be used primarily for granite/pin scars, etc etc, but I'm sure they'll also see some softer limestone and sandstone too. Thanks for any input y'all can send my way.

from my experience having more variety is better especially if you are looking to do routes clean. I would look into offset aliens; wild country zeros #1-#4.
For aid climbing I have found the more flexible the stem (ie. aliens, zeros)
the longer lasting and more confident inspiring the placement. That said for bomber obvious placements there is nothing better then the confidence of a metolius tcu or bd camalot.
