looking 4 beta on horne lake

Post by tangledfeet » Tue Mar 14, 2006 8:09 pm

I am thinking of visiting this area.
I also checked out the photos on rockclimbing.com. The area looks great.

My question is... If I go there is my car going to get towed, are old grey hairs going to be throwing rocks at me(not to scared of the distance they throw), worse are rednecks going to throw beer cans at me (have a hard time catching those). What's the gig? How do I visit without raising a fuss or ruining it for future climbers?

Also directions might help.

meingh is right. Horne Lake is officially closed but if you do happen to end up there you won't get towed and you probably won't be the only climber there.

And that is why climbers have trouble. No respect for closures or others property! :x
