Anyone know around how long it takes to drive to vegas from vancouver (if you drive like a normal person not an indy car racer)

Thanks

I've done it a couple of times in around 20 hours.
It may take longer this time of year though.
There could be faster routes than the one we have used. We've gone I-5 to Shasta then across to Susanville and down to Reno. (overnight in Reno: buffet, lose some money, sleep, buffet, drive more)
Reno takes about 12 hours and Reno to Vegas about 8 hours.

Id stay on Highway 5 all the way down thru to Tehachipi and then head to mojave where you will intersect with Highway 10. This will be a faster route, although may not look like it on the map, all superhighway all the way into the strip. Craps, pass/no pass line, double your bets as you win, bailout when you`ve got enough to buy a ferrari to drive home in.

It took us around 23 hrs via Salt Lake (I-15). But this is with us fully stopping for dinner and breakfast, and going slow through Oregon because of a speeding ticket.

consider: by the time you add up gas money, car and tire wear, speeding tickets, a couple of buffets, lost time, cheap motel, car lag, and the blood clot from sitting in the car so damn long..........isn't it more economical to fly???
