How is this legal? Aren't the sea cliffs part of the provincial park?

What are we looking at? What Provincial Park?

Regarding Provincial Parks, most people don't know or understand the role (currently or traditionally) of Provincial Parks in BC. FYI.
Parks are for People and the preservation of the recreational pursuits there in. The preservation of wilderness for the sake of the wildlife come secondary, and possible third to economic development. If the preservation of wilderness and wildlife benefits the people and enables them to pursue their recreation, then so be it. This enables people to hunt big game in virtually all our Provincial Parks.
*lets preserve the wildlife so we can shoot it and eat it* gasp!
Also, BC Parks doesn't have some blanket mandate that spells out what can and can not go on in BC Parks. There are about as many amendments, exceptions, and grandfather clauses in any given parks master plans as there are parks in the Province.
Sorry if this news bursts your bubble of what a Provincial Park is in this province. Personally, I blame the US media and its cultural influence on Canadians. British Colombians believe that the laws governing a US National Park somehow apply in BC Parks.

Of course this post is likely a troll, poking a stick to the eye of those who apposed the Gondola though Shannon Falls. But again, traditionally gondolas and boat anchor bolts have never fallen out of how our parks have been traditionally managed nor violated the principals on which they're created.

This is on the sea cliffs west of the mouth of the Squamish river, which from my grade level map reading may or may not be within Tantalus provincial park.

The anchors appear to be below high tide line, which might mean they are not in the park itself.

Those docks does not look like they would stand up to rough weather.
Do you have a wide-shot of this dock? What do you think it's been used for? Is there any climbing going on there?

Its a dock that's going to be used for a kiteboarding instruction operation.

Can't see what the bolts are in those pics but there have historically been bolts in the sea cliffs here and in other places around Howe Sound (like at Seal Cove) used for tethering log booms. Are these new bolts or the old booming bolts?
