New to Vancouver and seeking outdoor climbing partners
Hey there,
As of September 18th I'll be settled in Vancouver. I'd love to get out and do some climbing in the Vancouver area and in Squamish while the weather is still nice. I've only been climbing on Vancouver island and a little in Ontario, so going with someone familiar with these areas would be helpful. I can lead 5.7s confidently and I'm working on 5.8s. I'm also happy top roping up to 5.9s at this point and I make a great belay partner. I don't currently have rope, draws, or anchor gear, but I'm slowly working on that as well. On the plus side, I have a car!
Give me a shout if you're interested. I am working so I'll only have some availability on weekends this Fall, but more free time on weekdays. I would also be into multi-day trips if I have the time off work.
Hope to hear from you!

Look up the vancouver rock climbing group on meetup.com
http://www.meetup.com/climbing/
There is a trip going to the climbing festival and sport climbing in Shaka this weekend. There are lots of people signed up, so you'd be sure to meet lots of new climbing buddies.
