Angels Crest Approach

Just thought I would post this for a laugh:

My girlfriend and I wanted to climb Angels Crest last week. Fearing waiting in line we woke before first light and hurried to mamquam forest road and parked about 1.7km up the road, after reading the guide saying the AC sign might 'possibly' be missing. Assuming it was we unknowingly walked up to the wall below Zodiac looking for the start of AC. Lots of swearing and confusion and around 930am we realized were we were.

Lesson learned the squamish selects book has very accurate approach descriptions :p

Yeah, the distance in the guide is bang on (600m, which I paced from the tarmac seam), and the sign is there and can be seen from the road.

Wandering aimlessly below the northern walls is a right of passage around here. At least that's what the old folks have told me.
