Supernatural at the Squaw

Post by quantum7 » Sat Jul 28, 2012 10:22 am

Wondering if anyone has rapped off p1 of Supernatural with a 70 m rope. I know the guide says the route is 40 m, but just hoping with rope stretch and all that I can safely make it off with my 70. Any input is appreciated!

Really doubt your rope will stretch that much... Bring a tag line, unless you're feelin risky.
Imaging how much funner this could be with booze and explosives

yup the crux of supernatural is at the bottom so if you can downclimb that why do you even need a rope? just climb the second pitch and keep going up jungle warfare instead.

I met a gal who led the second pitch of supernatural for her second ever lead, after being told it was 5.7

she said it felt pretty hard for 5.7

you can rap p1 of SuperNatural with a 70m....i've done it and it works just fine.

IMHO its the 2nd best 10a pitch in Squamish
