Great to hear that so many people are having fun on it.

I also saw Fred at the top of The Flume (p2) on Skywalker on Sunday. The man still gets after it 90. May we each live to be so able-bodied at that age.

Just wanted to add my thanks to Jeremy and the crew for putting this up - had a very pleasant afternoon linking this with BP last week. (How many other potential routes do we walk past every weekend?!)

Jeremy, you will be missed, but here's to your legacy of putting up new easy-moderates!

We went up Rambles to get to Diedre today. It was great! That route is now my preferred way to get to the start of those Apron climbs.

Thanks Jeremy!

I wonder if The Bottom Line will get mossed over now . . . . .

I doubt that. It's a great way to start your day if your getting your slab on. Faster parties routinely simul this pitch. Finally we have two options to cut down the traffic jam a little.

Thanks to the Diggers!!!

If anything, I think the bottom line will get more action than usual since that area will get more traffic... mickey mouse should also get better since it won't get as much run off and will hopefully stay a bit cleaner. you can easily top rope it if you rap off the rambles...

To quote Hannibal Smith (some of you are old enough to know who he was)

Jeremy, I'm curious as to how much of Rambles is the route Crystal Burst 10b. done in 1979 by Ed Seedhouse and Hamish Fraser.

It looks like Rambles is a re-scrub of it mostly with a different 5.8 exit.

Crystal Burst starts right of Rambles, goes up to cross the start of Rambles p2 traverse crack, and finishes well out left in the trees.

Mickey Mouse joins Rambles near the end of Rambles p2 and then moves left and up a bit to the fault.

Brent Nixon's route Mighty Mouse climbs the hanging corner above the old finish of Mickey Mouse. It's a blank, bolted stemming corner that gets steadily harder until the top mantle. I had a real hard time seconding that finishing mantle but it's quite well protected.

Rambles end of p2 and all of p3 and p4 are well right of CB and MM

Pic of Mighty Mouse for reference, taken around 2005:

What's the grade for Mighty Mouse Dru? Looks hard.

definitely not a re-scrub. if you'd seen what the first pitch had looked like before, you'd know...

that being said, there was a line of old bolts just to the right of the first pitch. they practically fell out... as you might expect. part of the second pitch had clearly been trodden on before, however, as we found a couple of old bolts on the face above the crack. was a bit baffling though as to why you'd bother bolting right above a crack that you could've easily pounded some larger angles into...

Ya sorry for the bad beta I had. Totally not a re-scrub. It was a complete deforestation bio meltdown from the pic I saw after posting before. Way to go team.
