"The Sanitarium"

Take the trail up to The Sanctuary at about half way (before the real steep part) look for a pink flag on your left. Follow the well defined trail for about 5 minutes.

Left to Right:

Six Fingers 11a 8 bolts
Bulldog 11d 8 bolts (left of the arete)
Aracnophobia 12a 9 bolts (right of the arete)
Bernouilli's Principle 11b/c 8 bolts
Who's Who in the Zoo 10d 8 bolts

Peter Winter, Aug. '04

As usual, they're all good. :D

Thanx to Josh Lees for blazing the trail.

Meingh, stby for a topo.

I knew I forgot something: the shortest is around 17m "ish" and the longest 22m.

Peter (and Josh) -- great work -- can't wait to get there.

I also can't wait to figure out why the name "Bernoulli's Principle".......every climb has a name for a reason, neh?

Though, I now know why the shower curtain gets sucked in every time you turn on the water.........http://home.earthlink.net/~mmc1919/venturi.html

If anybody wants a topo, just email me. I don't know when Mr. Meingh will have it up.

p.s.

re: Bernoulli's Principle

climbing faster through the venturi results in less pressure, right?

That is correct, too bad the crux is in the venturi. Thanx for the kudos.
