where to go?
where to go?
hello.
my friends and me are going to vancouver in the summer.
we are from sweden and is going to mountainbike most of the trip.
but a couple of days they are going for a cayak trip.
i'm then left alone and is thinking of going to squamish for some days.
i'm not going to bring my rope and alot of gear.
just my shoes and a bag of chalk.
so i'm thinking bouldering.
where do you think i should go?
i have a sleepingbag but no tent and stuff like that.
so i need some place to live.like a hostel and it should be kind of close to the crag.
because they are going with the car.
the time i'm in canada is week 29-30.
maby itś to hot for climbing by then?

Re: where to go?
It's really never too hot in Squamish for bouldering because the boulders are in the forest where it always stays relatively cool. This is one reason why Squamish is so good and reliable for bouldering.
If you can't camp, you might want to check out The Inn on the Water. It has cheap rooms and stuff, and is pretty close to the bouldering action (walking distance). Here's the website http://www.innonthewater.com/
