has anyone climbed "speedway" on yak peak? just looking for some info on the route before we hit it....would like to talk to someone that has climbed it, thanks!

All I know is that it's super run out. As in squinting to find the next bolt run out. If you're comfortable at the grade it shouldn't be a problem.

I found Dru's trip on cascadeclimbers.com

sweet,checked out dru's trip report on cascadeclimbers.com. i knew it was run-out, but now i wont think i'm off-route when i cant find a bolt for 20 meters, haha. thanks for your help hafilax.

Yes, if you ever see a guy at the crags with a gigantic brain it'll be Dru. He has a difficult time with chimneys because his head is so freaking big but is otherwise a fine climber.

Speedway is a lot of roped hiking (no-hands) but the crux pitches are sustained and bold at their grades. If you liked "question of Balance" on the Apron you will dig this one.

Where in Squamish can you put up a 20-pitch first ascent without scrubbing?
