off topic - looking for info

Post by phoenix » Thu Apr 20, 2006 12:48 pm

Hello,

This is a little off topic, but I'm hoping some adrenaline junkies out there can give me some advice. I am wanting to tryout some bungee jumping, but I'm not sure which company to use. Has anyone tried out the Whistler or Nanaimo companies? Also it seems there are different ways to get harnessed up for the jump. Does anyone have recommendations on the best way to harness up (just ankles, ankle & waist, or waist & chest)

Thanks,
Melodie

I did the Nanaimo jump years ago, good stuff, go for the dunk. Also I just got back from N.Z. where a friend did the original comercial jump, and the nanaimo one looked cooler. Just strap it on your ankles and go, its not a bad jolt at all.
have fun.

adrenaline junkies
????

adrenaline can get you killed...i don't consider climbing much of an adrenaline....in fact i think climbing is the opposite...

back to your off topic, never done it, had friends whom have though...
ankle is the only way to hook up to my knowledge....and each location is a bit different (place, setting, staff, etc)

sure if ya do a google or something you'll get alot more info..
