Fracture lines on the Apron?

I was climbing Over the Rainbow a couple of weeks ago on the Apron. When passing the white spot where the large block fell last year (pitch 3), my climbing partners and I noticed that there were lines in the newly exposed white granite. My partner also put his foot on something that he thought might be loose. I don't remember the lines being there last year when I climbed that route after the block fell. Anyone else notice this? Or has anyone checked it out?
