Hi everyone,
The UBC Varsity Outdoor Club is having an annual climbing instructional weekend on May 10th/11th 2014. We'll have over 50 members that we are introducing to different levels of climbing. We are trying to spread out with small groups throughout the Smoke Bluffs, but also in easier parts of Murrin, Area 44, and Chek on Saturday, May 10. On May 11th we don't offer any instruction but there will still be many of our club members in the Smoke bluffs and other areas.
Our goal is to reduce our presence in the areas and to stay away from classic climbs. If you see us and we're on something you'd really like to climb, just let us know and we'll try to accommodate you (we're quite friendly and reasonable). Thanks in advance for your patience as we show more people this awesome sport.
