"The Thuggernaut" New route above the Squaw
Hey Everyone.
Just finished my new route above the top out of birds of Prey. For Squamish it is an impeccable splitter crack, approximately 10-12m high. Gear to 2.5"
Approach: from the top of Birds of Prey, hike into the forest via the "walk down" trail and immediately veer to your left off the main trail, past a very large fallen tree, until you come upon a clearly scrubbed line. CANT MISS IT!
from the squaw parking lot hike the squaw trail for 25-30 mins until you reach the merger to the top of Birds of Prey and look for blue flagging tape in the distance, followed by the very large fallen tree.
ATTN: No bolted anchors yet. I have equalized a few trees with Brand New 10mm static line and a hefty focal point with which you can extended to TR. or lower and clean your gear.
I graded it 5.10a just because its predominately yellow cam country so for a guy with larger hands you will find it easier, but for you ladies out there or guys with smaller mitts, it might be more of a struggle
