Truck and dog stolen

If you were at the Apron parking lot, Sunday (6-23-2013) at the Route 99 and Mamquam Service Road) and saw anything suspicious around 4:00 pm please contact me. My son's truck was stolen from the lot and his beloved dog was in the truck. The thief/ves smashed out the lock core and left it on the ground next to the truck. The truck is a 2002 silver Dodge Diesel Pickup with a distinctive green cap and bike rack. Wyatt is a friendly chocolate lab. My son is heartsick over the loss of his dog. Sadly, I cannot help you, but I can add that that truck must of burnt out of the parking fast, because they are likely the ones that backup up into the back of my Toyota Yaris and smashed the rear lock and back door up good. Even more bad luck on that day. Sorry for your much more substantial loss. I was up on the Buttress and didnt get back till much later around 8:15pm.

Wyatt, the dog, has been found in Kelowna by the RCMP when the thieves sold one of the stolen phones to someone who called. The RCMP traced the transactions and recovered the dog with the thief/ves last night. Still no word on the truck or the bikes or the gear. They are investigating in Kelowna now. I am very sorry about your truck, Mark.

Mark, I will pass your information on to my son. If they catch the people who actually stole the truck it may be of some use to you. They haven't found my son's truck yet, and I am still getting details from my son, but I will let him know what happened to you.
