I started a new forum category for Alpine
After several repeated requests I got around to creating a new category for Alpine climbing. Taking a look at the new climbs Bruce Kay et al put up north of Joffre (Mouses Tooth) and the new bolted climb on Mt Dionne there is obviously some great new alpine routes being established. Let's hear about more. This is also the place to share your favourite or recent trip into the backcountry for some peak bagging.
What do people think. Should there be a new category for ice and backcountry skiing? As you know after November when the rain falls in Squamish the snow is flying in the mountains and people are getting out their boards.

Re: I started a new forum category for Alpine
Dave thanks - I think it will be of use for ever changing access / betta updates etc .
About winter etc. I think there are already forums for avalanche hazard / skiing. There is also westcoastice.com for winter climbing although it dosn't update automatically so conditions often change before notes get posted. Your posting format works better.
Maybe talk to adrian burke and see what he thinks.
