Climbing partner for a traveler
Climbing partner for a traveler
hi there
this is janick from switzerland...i've been traveling around southeast asia, oz&nz, central america and will finish my trip with some westcoast travels in north america...carried my climbing gear with me all the time and had some awesome experiences...now i'd love to climb some stuff around squamish, therefore i'm looking for a partner who could guide me around the place or join me in exploring...some good company and good climbing and i'd be happy...
i guess i'll stay in the vancouver area for the first two-three weeks of may and then start heading down throu oregon and cali...
i'm 26, former salesman, student of journalism, a bit of a hyperactive freak (still, people enjoy my company, in general ...), always trying to be as open-minded and -hearted as possible and aiming to live life to the fullest...
my weight: around 68 kg or 150lb || highest grade led so far: 5.10c/d or 6b/6b+ || i bring: my harness, my shoes, a chalkbag, 16 quickdraws, an atc guide and a mammut smart alpine belay device, 9 locking karabiners, a couple of slings, cordelettes and a chain reactor, 60 metres of rope...think that's about it
oh and if anyone has a couch to crash on, that would be great too ...naturally i'd contribute in every way i can!
cheers,
janick
