The Diggers
New article out in Gripped on 5 local route-digging heros.

Why does the Digger dig? Perhaps Diggers get something from the process, like respite from other worries. “You get pissed off with life and you swing the mattock that much harder,” confesses Hevy.

Nice article Jeremy, too bad you couldn't put yourself in there. You've done more than enough to earn a spot. Anything going on these days? I noticed a fixed rope on a right slanting crack near the Bottom Line.

Re: The Diggers
Thanks!
I might work on a devoted article about Skywalker... we'll see.
I do have ropes on a new 3p approach to Diedre, Banana Peel, etc. Should be about 5.8. As it turns out, I'm insanely busy with work this year and haven't found any time to get up there in over a month. Is anyone interested in getting involved? It's not all that big of a project but it should be a good fun start to the Apron.

Re: The Diggers
Anytime an article about Squamish or any of the local climbers shows up in a magazine, I buy it. Partially because I like to be able to look at the pictures and say, "I've climbed that!" but more so because I enjoy learning about the history of climbing in our area.
Great article.
Great article.
