Eastwood Road

Post by skidrc » Thu Aug 25, 2011 8:27 am

Was up at Eastwood yesterday. The crag is spectacular. Excellent selection of bolted and trad routes, both named and open for variation. We climbed some of the 11-'s and found them to be tons of fun. Unforgiven was a blast, tons of wicked edging and crimps up very prominent quartz veins (for a geologist, this was exciting).

The road could be brushed out a bit, all this rain has certainly helped our floral and faunal amigos. I didn't have a saw with me, but anticipate being up there in the next month (I head back up to the yukon...) and will surely be hitting this zone much more frequently.

Although I have never met you Axel, this is an awesome zone. Thank you very much! (Looks like there is load of potential for development, and I will toss my card in the hat if anyone is heading up to work there)
