Go alone to Squamish ?

Hi !
I'm french, I would like to spend few months this spring/summer in Squamish, to climb.
I don't know if it's easy to find climbing partners there, because I'm going to travel alone.
And the best thing for me would be to find a part time job in Squamish. If anybody knows something about part times plans.. I don't know, like work in a campside, or I don't know if it's easy to do babby-sitting in Canada...
And a last thing : I'll look for a renting room, so if you know climbers who may rent a room...

You'll have no trouble finding climbing partners. As for work, you will probably have to work under the table (sans permis(?)) but this can happen esp. if you know basic construction etc or are willing to do general labour. However, the economy is not good so don't count on making lots of $$.
