petzl announces new grigri belay technique

interesting. almost everybody on here belays similar to that, but w/ the index and middle finger in a 'pistol' position, gripping the bottom of the grigri and the thumb holding the cam (as per video).

That's why they call it the 'technique developed by climbers'. It's mostly a newly approved by Petzl technique.
