Papoose now open

We have confirmation the Papoose is now open for climbing. We have asked Parks to have the closure sign removed. The original trail head is now gone but we have an understanding from Kiewit & Sons that they will build a new one (which we will most likely have link into a new trail to Gobsmacking and Shannon Falls walls).

so as of now there is NO existing/ temporary trail leading up to the mail area on the Papoose?

Hi Brendan,

The main trail is still there, but the small access trail that led up to it from the road across the mud slope is no longer there. You just have to scramble up a slope closer to the highway and angle in towards the woods and rock to pick up the main trail. We want them to build the short initial access trail again.
