Conroy Creek Access Road - Upper

Post by MCpl » Thu Aug 03, 2006 10:07 am

Any engineers out there? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to reinforce/improve the upper section of the road? I'm thinking, have something in place so that it doesn't get rutted out because drivers are having to really power through this section as it worsens. Ideally, the work should be able to be completed using simple tools and a crew of 10 people.

just so nobody gets in trouble for it, is the public entitled to take upon itself to re-engineer or rebuild a public logging road? I know it is not used for that anymore, but it is still under the maintenance jurisdiction of the government, it is not a trail or a private road that could be fixed by whoever feels up to it. I'd love to see it fixed or paved, but I just don't think we're able to just show up with a bobcat and start building.
