Will any old stainless steel quick link do on an anchor or is there a certain rating/brand that is required?
I ask because I have purchased some steel anchor biners for up at Chek.

5/16" or 3/8" plated or stainless quick links will do just fine. Hit up your local CDN tire.

or if you're in penticton, there are 4 links hanging off every light standard in the downtown area... or there were anyway.

Umm... I don't want to give climbers a more deplorable rep than they already have by cheaping out and 'taking' quick links from lamp posts :) Besides, I am a weekend warrior with an honest to god real career, unfortunately.
