accomodation near Squamish
Do anyone know of accomodation for 4 adults and 1 child within driving distance of main area for climbing please, 3 weeks in summer? We UK climbers and raring to go on the chief!
I was looking about this time last year and ended up renting for a couple of months seen as i was on my own.
there is a big campsite right at the base of the chief-depending on when you intend to hit squamish it may be pretty busy. there is a hostel just off the main highway before you turn off for the town centre that is meant to be good-not sure on costs though. a couple of hotels in town but TBH they did look a tad dodgy. there is another hotel about 2km north of squamish near a huge wall mart. sorry I can't remeber names of them-I'm sure someone else will be able to advise you better!
may be worth checking the lonely planet guide book-it may be of some use, i don't have mine at the mo' so can't check sorry. all in all i've probably been as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike.
