Bouldering - Perfect conditions?

Post by stuamos » Mon Jan 21, 2008 2:06 pm

I'm relishing these clear blue skies right now and was wondering what conditions would be like in Squamish in a couple of days if it stays dry. I figure the conditions will be prefect but perhaps it's too damp/frozen in the Forest?

Would appreciate some local advice if anyone has any!

Many thanks,
Stu

It dries out quick. If the highway is dry the rock is dry (at least some of it). GO RIGHT NOW!!!! Friction will be off the hook yo...

The conditions are as good as they get. The windstorm the other day took care of that. These two weeks of good weather almost make up for the 5 weeks of sh*t weather we've had since early Dec.

Excellent! That's what I'd hoped for. Although, now if it rains before Wednesday i'll be gutted.

I heard from a reliable source (actually bouldered today) who said the conditions were awesome despite the f*%king frigid temps.

Good luck later in the week :)

Oh, it's going to be brutal no doubt. But it's all about the friction...
