I climbed quagmire today at the lower malamute. i noticed that there are no rappel anchors at the top. if one climbs from the ground up it is impossible to rappel, unless i missed the anchors. where are the rappel anchors situated?
thanks

Quagmire crack has a big tree at the top that you can rap off. But you need two ropes since the climb is 40m long. We climbed it a couple mos. ago and rapped in from the top. Cool route!

When did the Lower Malamute open up for climbing? As far as I am aware, CN Rail has forbidden all access to climbers.

You can access most climbs by rap-in and never trespass on the forbidden area.
