Air Miles
Is one air miles card better than another?
Do you mean the Airmiles membership card or the various credit cards that offer Airmile points for x number of dollars spent?
The first doesn't matter. You only need one.
The second is dependent on the reward scale offered. Typically gold cards will give a better return rate (ie. 1 airmile for every $15 spent) but they'll have annual fees attached.
There are some banks that are affiliated with an airline and charge less airmiles for flight on the said airline. However, to take advantage of this, you're restricted to where this airline flys.
At the end of the day, it comes down to how you wish to use the points and (if for flying) how flexible you need your travel options to be.
