Hardware/Cleaning stuff

Post by Peter » Tue May 25, 2004 11:42 am

What is everyone paying for their chain and wire brushes etc. Any good deals out there? I can get shackles (used for anchoring the chain to the hangers) for 67 cents each. They're 5/16, galvanized. Wire brushes for $2.09. Anyone interested getting in on a bulk order? Any better prices out there? A bulk chain order would be cheaper as well.

I would love about 50 shackles!!!!!! How can we hook this up? Also I have in the past found decent quality brushes in a dollar store near my house for 99 cents but their supply seems limited. Definately in for bulk chain do you have a supplier?

I found shackles for 68 cents so I don't need them from your guy anymore. Where do you get your brushes?

I got the shackles at a fastener store in Surrey. I think the name is something like coast fasteners or BC fasteners. Either way it is in the same complex as the vertical reality climbing gym but instaed of being tucked in behind like VR the fastener place fronts the road (128th street). if you need some I can pick them up for you and meet you in squish.

That's OK, I'm feeling rich so I'll pay the extra penny.
BTW-It seems that together we'd need close to 100, I'll talk to the guy again and see how much he'll lower his price.
