The Best ANTI-Chipping argument
Unless nanos can morph one's skin into some sort of clingy substance or grow mirco hooks, a la Spiderman, we won't be able to climb a blank section of rock (ie back side of the Kacodemon).
The only real anti-chipping argument out there is that "Not Every Line Has To Be Bolted". Because, anyone faced with the decision of having to chip either has no vision of what might be climb by someone stronger (inexcuseable) or simialrly, "I want it to go for me". Or someone wants a line to go through a blank section. We can all agree that the first two are unacceptable, the third may have room for argument.
