Arc'teryx Climbing Academy July 14-17 2016

Post by squamish climber » Mon Jun 13, 2016 9:00 pm

The folks at the Arc'teryx Climbing Academy got in touch with me to let me know this year's festival is coming together very nicely.

I looked at the speaker lineup, films, clinics and extracurricular activities and it looks like a super fun time. This is a great chance to hear from local powerhouse climbers like Will Stanhope, Jason Kruk Paul McSorely and Vikki Weldon. Plus some international climbers will be here like Kate Rutherford, Katie Bono, Ines Papert, Dave Allfrey and Roger Strong.

And I really don't want to miss opening night because Peter Croft will be on stage talking about where it all began for him -- here in Squamish and the U- Wall. Who knows what other anecdotes of Squamish climbing history he will drop in.

check out the full line-up on the festival website here.

I wounder if the Arc'teryx Climbing Academy will open this year festival due to the COVID situation.
2 years ago we went with all our team from Auto service in Markham, and we had so much fun.
