New 5.13+ trad route at Top Shelf
Ben Harnden completed the 'x' crack project today at the (tip)Top Shelf-
The Locknar 5.13+ (R) begins up Headbangers In Leotard to about half height then traverses left onto the left wall where it accepts the challenge through the x crack feature and onwards with increasing tension and distance from a green alien, until a rapidly placed cam assuages alarmed brain cells from imploding and the route moves back right to rejoin Headbangers at the suspect block, clipping the chains of that route.
Not a bad effort, that.
