Too bad Johnny! Hmm.. I heard some guy's been spraying on the internet about that.... oops. Oh well it's an epic and should be enjoyed!

Bong King looks sick! Its the leftmost of the three corners in this pic (Not the furthest left bushy one.)

Start up the easy right side of a 5m flake, and go into the left hand corner groove. Follow it to a pedestal at its top.

The center corner is the start of The Opal and also goes at 11a!

Did it today, although I lost the toss and had to follow. Did Hard On after though and took the plum pitch; 50m of really good climbing and at the tougher end of 10c.

Grade is good, easier than the Split Pillar and an excellent training session for that route.

Hi Lurch:

ok, not sure about any of your three new challenges...but is the "easy" one split beaver? I have no clue about the second one, but I'm guessing it is something (I haven't climbed) in boulder gully ??

The last one sort of looks like something in the neighborhood of Rutabaga, but I'm throwing darts with a blindfold on... :D

Hi jstod:

If you're right, then two of my guesses were good. I've never climbed Hangover. Is it good? How much and how wide gear does it take?

hey Steve -

I've never been on "hangover" but always thought it looked like a classic stout 10+ jam crack, which it probably is!

Natsdad, I have been informed by a concerned, guide book savvy, Lurker that the climb in question is actually known as "Piled Higher and Steeper".

I stand corrected. Now that I think about it, I think A$$%$#^@ of August is actually a finger crack.
