Big Daddy Overhang - DRY?!?

Post by rockandsnowjunkie » Thu Oct 27, 2011 1:12 pm

Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone had a sense of whether any of the routes at Big Daddy would be amply dry for a few pitches given the recent deluges?

Thanks

It does seep after heavy rainfall. Also the final moved are past the overhang so it is likely that parts of the route are wet. But its is probably still climbable

Was there a couple weeks ago during our last sunny period, but after the long rainy spell, and the routes under the overhang were dry enough, but all along the traverse of Grand Daddy was seeping, and there was a waterfall over on climbers left. Barn Door flake, Sentry Box lite and whatsit going up to the start of the traverse should be okay I guess.
Not really worth going for just those though I would think.

Much appreciated. If I end up gambling on it I'll let you know how it turned out.
