Cap Canyon
I've seen on some websites that there are supposed to be a couple multipitch routes in Capilano Canyon. I am currently about a 15 minute walk from the dam, and I assume that these climbs are right in the area below that, but I am not positive.
Anyone ever climbed there? Anyone want to go there? Info?

- seems like it's quite dirty and receives relatively little traffic. You might do better checking out Sully's Hangout, Cypress Falls or Light House Park. If you go let us know what shape it's in.

I just went and looked at it from the top, and it does look pretty dirty.... I think that if the effort was put into it, better routes could be made elsewhere. Might look into that in the future.

Re: Cap Canyon
*Update*
Just went out and looked at it again...... There are trees growing up from what looks to be between halfway and 2/3rds up the route. Not to mention the mud running down it, and the horrible topout.
I tried to scramble my way down the canyon slightly upstream in order to check out the bottom, but the traverse back towards the start of the route is quite possibly one of the worst approaches I've ever seen. To rapp down would be the best option for anyone who wants to climb it.
Would have taken pictures if I could get close enough, but wasn't worth the swim.

Re: Cap Canyon
Sounds like good adventure. Anders, you in? I think we could get a hammer toss in over that tree that natdogg mentioned.

Re: Cap Canyon
Yeah good luck with that. Also to add to the list of northshore alternatives there is godman creek and the pennywise boulder areas:
