The Varsity Outdoor Club will be running its annual rock climbing instructional course on Oct. 11 and 12 this year (mostly the 11th) in Squamish. There will be around 100 participants distributed throughout the various climbing areas. There shouldn't really me any more people in one particular area than on a regular busy weekend, but maybe more than you'd expect for October so this is just a heads up.

does this mean there will be 100 more people at the campground? should i rule out the campground for saturday night?

None of us are staying at any campgrounds, at least not on Saturday night. By Sunday night the event is over and I don't know what people will do. Possibly some will stick around for Monday, but I wouldn't expect any enormous numbers.
I doubt anyone will be at chek.

Most people will likely be in the Smoke Bluffs or at Murrin.

so far the following cliffs will be busy:
Crack Rock
Neat & Cool (corn flakes area)
Octopus' Garden
Pixies Corner
Sugar Loaf
Ronin
Burger and Fries
Neat & Cool (cat crack area)
Channel Road
Fern Gully
and three more cliffs to be decided...
