White rope on Forgotten Wall

Post by MCpl » Fri Apr 02, 2004 9:40 am

Just curious.... Does anyone know who's white rope is hanging on the Forgtten Wall. Looks like a future crimp-fest. But what kind of hangers are those???

Jim S. and I'd bet he used glue ring bolts if they look different from the others on the wall.

Correction- The route is Jim's. He did it today and he says it 12- looks a bit harder to me. The hangers are normal but he used 1/2" bolts.

Is it the short one that is right of Gary's corner project?

I got on it and felt that it was harder than 5.12-
Very bouldery at the start and a lot of the moves where close to being out of my reach (I'm 5'8").

How did you come to that "guess"? Perhaps it was when you were standing on the ground while trying to imagine how difficult the moves are after the second bolt? I suppose that could hold some validation to your "guess".

Its a good thing there are a lot of people watching what meingh climbs and keeping tabs on what he says about them. If not the next thing he might say is that Pulse is 12a. :)
