recently new route on south part of apron

Post by gotnoname » Thu Mar 24, 2016 7:06 am

I spent about 20 minutes searching this forum but couldn't find what I want.

I thought there was a new low grade multipitch on the south end of apron. I'm talking about the area where people walk down instead of going into the trees from Broadway to come back down.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Here is the long thread about the recleaning of Slab Alley a few years ago. There was an alternate ending added to it, which closely parallels the easy walk-off. That might be what you're referring to.

We did it from the base after the cleaning and those first 3 pitches are great, much better then approaching from the Diedre area. The only other pitch that was memerable was the Elephant steps.
