Bolt hangers gone from Pit Bull, Neat and Cool cliff

I was looking at this route today, from the ledge above Clean Starts. All the bolt hangers are gone but weirdly the bolt stubs are untouched and look in good condition - so doesn't seem like bolt chopping. Anyone know the story on this?
