Wow! This place is sure to be popular with all the moderates. All sport?

Went by today to check the Pillary out and was very impressed. There are some good looking lines and the rock and trails look to be more solid than at area 44. The trail work was especially well done. I wasn't sketched out in the least even with my newly broken arm. Nice work guys.

I went to Area 44 today and had a chance to check out The Pillary. Only got on one route but the climbing was very enjoyable and can't wait to get back to try out some of the other offerings. The trail work is impressive as well.
Thanks to those who put in all the work.

Got to check out The Pillary today. Really fun area, really cool moves on the routes, and great to hit in the morning. Thanks to the route developers, you guys did a great job!
Re: The Pillary (the expansion to Area 44) is now OPEN!
Just checked it out and found it amazing. This area feels like it was made just for me. I can warm up on the 5.8s, do a few 5.9s and then try to project a few 5.10s, and there's enough of those around that once I get better I can bump it all up a grade and still have loads of fun.
I loved how diverse the climbs are. I climbed mostly in the Boondocks and loved how a single climb would have some juggy overhanging moves, then some crimpy face moves and then, bam, all of a sudden an off-width crack.
Many thanks to the people who created this!
