Due to topography, this is a perennial problem for that part of the cliff, and others. No easy solution, as there's a new 'crop' of rocks every spring, and after heavy rains. Possibly increased traffic on the trail leading to the top of this cliff is also increasing erosion - once you disturb the vegetation cover, the soil, sand and rocks underneath are quite unstable. Everywhere at Squamish.

Maybe there should be a spring boulder trundle party each year, to deal with this, or would that just create more problems?

Possible, but I suspect it would fill up fairly quickly - at least, the sort of wall that might be appropriate and practical there. You might have to empty it every spring, or more often. A lot of stuff gets washed down there.

It would take a lot of concrete. Not really an appropriate solution, given the topography. It reminds me of the little Dutch boy and the dyke. And of course it's a park - you'd want to ask the Little Smoke Bluffs committee before doing anything so dramatic. An annual spring cleaning/sweeping of clifftops throughout the bluffs may be a better approach.
