Tall Skinny People

Post by slopr » Fri Sep 11, 2009 1:26 am

my belief has always been that it's highly possible this climb is a tube of grease but the other day a very unreliable source (strong climber with a bad memory) said it has been recleaned, rebolted and

....good
?

Does anyone else hear this??
Or done it?

I know there is a new route next door to it but the chimney was the claim

looks pretty greasy from here.....

Tony MCLane and i tried it about a month ago. It was a choss-filled mess that scared the sh*t out of us, so we bailed. I think it could potentially be awesome if somebody with a drill and a crowbar had a go at it.

thanks for the heads up! I am quickly learning that most of the "mysterious" routes I have long had in mind are mysterious for a reason...

think I'll still have a good look at most of em though!

Perhaps the retro of Public Image is the source of the rumour?

That makes sense, thanks for clarifying. Sounds wild!
Sorry for the bad info- one must be careful when talking with climbers that have a imbalanced strength:memory/intelligence ratio. Probably easy to mix up route names when they all feel 5.6 but remembering rent day feels 5.14
:D
