New route in Lynn Valley

New route at Sully's (aka the Dark Side)

Between Shake Your Lettuce and Special K. "SERENE" Longest route on crag, 10 bolts. Overbolted to avoid the tree and huggers. 11c if you climb left near the top to a big rest or 12A if you climb the last two bolts direct. Sustained. FA R Rybak, FA Direct Finish, A Anthonie.

A great urban crag, I have seen more traffic there in the last few weeks since the topo was posted than i did in the last 2 years. Shawn should be a proud parent.

Nice. Funny, the first thing I said to myself when I went there was "why isn't there a route right there" it seemed to be an obvious line.

Looking forward to getting on it. I finally got a chance to do some of the others and I was impressed.

I counted 11 hanging quickdraws but I guess I was also counting a quickdraw off the anchor.

Those tree-huggers are a real problem on that route I noticed, always shouting hysterically and getting in the way of the leader...
