new routes at cat lake

Post by gordo » Mon Jun 26, 2006 10:00 am

I got a topo for some new routes at cat lake.
Two walls

Does anyone have info on where the walls are and comments on the quality of the routes are welcome.

Note - I have T-Rex arms so I usually don't look for reachy climbs :o)

Hey, I've got no info but are you going to forward the topo to Squamish Climbing anyway?

I've talked to a couple people that have climbed there and they said the routes are really good. (some of the best in squish) they start in the 11's and go to mid 12's..

i wanna go... need the INfo!!

good climbing

The trail is gonna need some traffic and the routes are still a bit dirty but WOW it may be the best sport climbing I have done around Squamish. George at climb on has topos and it is worth the effort to go check it out. Bring lots of QDs, the routes tend to be long and technical. Never climbed on the smaller wall but those routes look pretty sweet as well. Hats off to the people who put in the long hours developing yet another great area in Squamish.

I see the few select copies are making the rounds. I'll have to speak to the individuals involved. Anwyays, I'll get the topo out next week, there is still some final tidying up to do at the crag.............
