Does anyone know anything about the 4 bolt climb to the left of Zoe Wall at Murrin. It is about 15m left of Jeff and the Giant reach and is bouldery. Name? Grade etc

Are you talking about Breathe? Up the arch to the left and then up past the tree, or the route L of that?

My recollection for the L most route was 5.hard. Been a few years, but low 12 I think?

Breathe is 12b (really?) on rock and 11d with the tree stem....

Cheers

wicked climbs

Post by cbovard » Mon Jun 15, 2009 1:58 pm

Hello All,
I climbed these 2 routes on Sat (The Whinging Wife & Saggy Jugs and Child Bearing Clips). These routes are fun and wicked. I was not sure of the grade at all so I brought some small pro for both.
The Slab route (The Whinging Wife) was fun. It was a bit dirty and but there was good rests all over it. I think this route was 10-.
The other (Saggy Jugs and Child Bearing Clips) was also fun. The crux was the first few moves with easy climbing and more wicked rests after. I think this at the most was 10-c, if.
This is just my opinion but both routes had wicked rests to shake out whatever pump you get. Bring some small gear if you feel the need.
Going back to try the rest.

no. They are the southernmost routes on Lakeside in the woods. They are inside the around the big gully at that end.
