Changed access for Sky Pilot and Habrich- what does it mean?
WTF, it took me three from the Stawamus-Indian turnoff once, how many smoke breaks did you takeJ Mace wrote:If you made it to the memorial then the rest is a trivial mountain bike ride to the climbers trail to the base, I bet 2 hours to the bottom of the route.
Took me three from the boulder blockade.
awesome!!

I assume your jeep isn't stock? I went up to the boulder blockade earlier this week with my 4runner and saw where the rocks were stacked to cross the blockade, but looks like you need some larger tires and some clearance to get through, not something I would try in my 4runner at least lol
What is the best way to access Sky Pilot if I can't get a key from BCMC? (Sent them an email, waiting to hear back)? Any suggestions on which route (W. Ridge, etc) to take this time of the year?

I had to get the last word in on this:
Here is the ultimate mode to access Sky Pilot / Habrich from the N:

Thats a foreshortened Habrich SW side in the top of the frame.
Better than a mtn bike because its fun going up and going down.
No jeeps have been making it up here any further than the memorial, whole trail is overgrown after that, getting close to singletrack:

Cheers!
