I was at the Papoose today and noticed when coming down from Hairpin, new routes on the bluff on the descent trail. Does anyone have an updated topo for the Papoose Area?

There is a mostly bolted route which ascends to the first anchor of Hairpin from the ground. Anyone know anything about it?

It is a direct start for pamplemousse. Face and slab 5.11. Crux is where the bolts are.
There is also a new station below the 5.12 pitch, and a new bolt on the 5.12.

How does this variation relate to Hairpin Turn, the A4 route that goes up the incipient crack that leads to the ledge?

The routes along the descent trail are still under development by a local climber with serious ADD problems. Maybe work will continue this winter. There looks like lots of potential for moderate and harder lines there, up to 2 or 3 pitches each.

That pretty much narrows it down to every Squamish climber
